3.5-Gallon “Dry Cell” Battery Pail Prepaid Recycling Kit Requirement *All terminals need to be taped. It is very important to tape terminals for batteries over 9 volt. Lithium-ion batteries are acceptable within the dry battery pails (with terminals taped), however, primary Lithium batteries ARE NOT acceptable in any of the battery pails. Prohibited primary lithium batteries include Lithium-Sulphur Dioxide (LiSO2), Lithium Manganese Dioxide Battery (LiMnO2), Lithium Thionyl Chloride (LiSOCI2)
