Properly recycle and dispose of smoke detectors containing Americium 241. (Detectors containing other radioactive materials are not accepted.)
- 5-Gallon Smoke Detector Recycle Kit includes plastic pail, heavy-duty recyclable cardboard box (pail must be return-shipped in the cardboard box), heavy plastic liner, zip tie to seal liner for shipping, pre-paid return shipping label.
- Documentation included for obtaining Certificates of Recycling online.
- IMPORTANT: This program is only for smoke detectors containing 5 microcuries or less of Americium 241
